Roseburg RigidCoreRoseburg’s RigidCore® 100% Douglas-fir industrial plywood was designed to meet or exceed a wide variety of demanding, high quality, long-term performance industrial applications in trucks, buses, boats, RVs, manufactured components, displays and more. The Douglas-fir Structural I plywood features a balanced layup that provides flatter panels with superior strength, stiffness and dimensional stability.

Key Advantages

  • C+ proprietary grade veneers are similar to PS-1 “C” grade but with stricter grade rules on open knots that limits the size of the open knots/defects to ¾” max
  • All panel construction is balanced veneers
  • 1/8” maximum core gaps provides better yield for CNC with routers and other cutting operations
  • Core will be Composed, 2, or 3-piece
  • 100% Douglas-fir with balanced layup provides a dimensionally stable and flatter panel
  • Structural I assures superior strength and stiffness
  • CC-Plugged, BC, and AC are stamped UL
  • CC-Plugged face is Full Sand

Low-Emitting Material

SDS can be used for LEED v3 projects.

Roseburg Softwood Plywood products are manufactured with a phenolic, no-added urea formaldehyde (NAUF) resin system.

Softwood Plywood panels should not be included as part of the Composite Wood Evaluation for LEED v4 as these products are not regulated by CARB. Softwood Plywood should be included as a layer in the budget calculation method for flooring, ceilings, walls or furniture, depending upon the application.

Qualifies when LEED project is within 500 miles (LEED v3) or 100 miles (LEED v4) of Roseburg's manufacturing location and harvest region.

Valued as 1/2 of a product for each different application that is permanently installed in the building. For example, softwood plywood used in a sheathing application would be counted as 1/2 product and softwood plywood used in a siding applicaton would be counted as an additional 1/2 product.

Use Verification document to demonstrate that Roseburg products qualify for this credit.
