Laminating

Decolam uses the most sophisticated manufacturing techniques to produce beautiful, economical, high performance laminates delivered on time and at competitive prices.

Decolam’s curing and coating processes produce a durable surface-to-substrate bond that eliminates delamination. Because Decolam resists warping, even without the use of a backing sheet, it suits a broad range of design and application requirements including kitchen cabinets, entertainment centers, modular wall units, retail displays and store fixtures, and casual furniture.

Decolam's unique Hymmen laminator line is used primarily to laminate top coated or resin-impregnated papers to particle board or medium-density fiberboard of various thicknesses. The Hymmen press is superior to other laminators in that it uses a continuous belt laminating process rather than lamina tion by roller. This particular laminator has the capability of laminating either one side of a panel or both sides simultaneously. The panels are subjected to heat and pressure for a much longer period of time than they would be on either the hot or cold roll laminator lines. For more discriminating customers like high end furniture manufacturers, the Hymmen laminator will achieve the highest quality laminated surface.
